God's prayer of love for all mankind

The world has seen Jesus as a religious figure. But we as Christians, need to show that He is the only personal saviour for mankind.

The prayer of Jesus was a powerful prayer, it was a prayer of love to save all mankind. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but the world through him might be saved" (John 3:16-17). This was a prayer to take back the authority Satan had taken from Adam in the Garden of Eden. The purpose of God's prayer is to re-unite mankind with the Father, the glory and the BLESSING that was given to mankind in the Garden of Eden.

It was a cry from God's heart for the world, and we as christians need to show that love to the world. You can't sit down over a cuppa and say I want to do God's will one day - it's deeper than that, for if Jesus had done that the world would not have been saved. And God promises that He will supply ALL our needs (Philippians 4:19) Isn't that just awesome!

The prayer of Jesus: John 17:1-17

1. After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you. 2. For you have given him authority over everyone. He give eternal life to each one you have given him. 3. And this is the way to have eternal life - to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. 4. I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do, 5. Now, Father, bring me into the glory we had before the world began.
6. "I have revealed you [a] to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your world. 7. Now that they know that everything I have is a gift from you, 8. for I have passed onto them the message you gave me. They accepted it and know that I came from you, and they believe you sent me.

9. "My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. 10. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. 11. Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. 12. During me time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me. I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold.

13."Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. 14. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15. I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. 16. They do not belong to this world any more them I do. 17 Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.

God knew you before the world even began. In Ephesians 1 is says:

He blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace (verses 3-6).

Think about it! God didn't wait until you were born to find out a destiny for you, He loves you too much for that. Or before the foundation of the world as we know today, He predestined you to be like Him, as He was with the Father and provided everything you'd ever need to fulfill that destiny.

I pray that you find your destiny in Christ Jesus, just as Jesus did by submitting to the Word. And together with Christ we will fill the earth with His glory (Genesis 1: 27-28), just as He planned for mankind in the beginning.

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Footnotes:
1. John 17:6 Greek have revealed your name; also in 17:26.
2. John 17:11 Some manuscripts read you have given me these [disciples].
3. John 17:12 Some manuscripts read I protected those you gave me, by the power of your name.

Training Plan based on 1 Timothy 6:10, 17-19

1. I don't get high-minded or proud, or start showing off how much faith I have, because of the things I have received.

2. I don't ever put my trust in things. I watch over my emotions. Do my thoughts of loss stir up fear? I rebuke the fear. My God loves me, and He has abundance of things. I seek Him, His Word and His plan, and all the things I need and desire will be added to me.

3. I do good! I will never! ever! use people to get things! I will use things to love people. I will train my words and thoughts to love God and to love people - not things!

4. I stay willing and ready. My storehouse will always be full, no matter what comes in the world and it's Babylonian system.

5. I lay hold of eternal life. The Life of God...the very force that makes God, GOD. It came into me when I was born again. I release it by faith. Everything I will ever need is laid up for me.

Who's Voice are You Hearing?

We hear so many voices in our daily lives that it can be difficult to hear the voice of the Lord. So how do we discern the voice of the Lord?

Anyone living in western society is constantly exposed to a variety of sounds the sound of the television, the sounds of selected music. A multitude of sounds will often interrupt normal daily communication between people, and prevent the hearers from inward reflection by their constant distractions. This is why it is important to have quiet time to your self.

The following scriptures give examples of different voices that can be heard

* So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law (Exodus 18:24)
* And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long (Exodus 19:19)
* And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried (Numbers 14:1)
* And the LORD heard the voice of your words (Deuteronomy 1:34)
* Can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? (2 Samuel 19:35)

* And a fool's voice is known by multitude of words (Ecclesiastes 5:3)

But there are other voices too. However, these voices are less obvious these are the voices that we hear inside our head. Some of those voices are normal, and some are not. For example, we might think of a meeting that we have arranged, and plan how we are going to get there. This is normal thought, where we are in a sense talking to ourselves, and it is used to accomplish activities in our daily lives.

Everyone however has experienced the sense of going against their own conscience. Our conscience was given to us in order to discern right and wrong, and we can develop it either for good or evil by the choices we make. This is in the area of the soul, where the mind, the will, and the emotions are. God has made provision for the soul, and there are many scriptures about this area. God warns us about the company we keep because constant exposure to the same people helps moulds decisions that we make whether for right or wrong.

* Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?(Proverbs 8:1)

God also has a voice, and speaks to us by His spirit. When God speaks to us, it is because it is important, and He is intervening to protect and guide us.

* And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? (1 Kings 19:13)

God has created us as spirit beings, who also live in a body, and have a mind. Many people dismiss the spiritual, and yet they will often participate in it and not realize that they have exposed themselves to it for example, there are a multitude of supernatural type television programs that people will watch. This example though is just one of many. Exposure to the supernatural affects us as spiritual beings, and often, without the persons active awareness, trains those who expose themselves to it. Depending on the level of exposure, and the individuals personal checklist of their conscience, this can result in people committing heinous acts and when asked why they did what they did they will say that the voices told them to do it.

To understand spiritual things, we need to read the handbook provided for us by our designer. The Bible has provided scripture as spiritual food, and we need to refer to it daily. Scriptures provide a checklist that also reflect the inward witness of Gods voice. This is called the renewing of our mind, and will enable us to more clearly hear and obey Gods voice.

* Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people (Jeremiah 7:23)

May God bless and protect you and keep you safe til the day of your salvation, and forevermore. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Prophetic word concerning an end-time financial anointing‏

Over the past couple of months, God has given me specific insight and instructions concerning an end-time financial anointing that He is releasing upon the Church in these last days. One of the biggest yokes of bondage in the Body of Christ is the bondage of debt, as Satan tries to prohibit the word from growing into manifestation so that we lose insight into what God has done, and what He is going to do. This will either be a time of great sorrow or great joy, and it's our choice.

Just as the Lord spoke to Elijah, giving him specific instructions and direction concerning the 3 year famine upon the nation of Israel and its surrounding borders (1 Kings 17) , so will God give us provision and supernatural power in this end-time event. We as Christians need to HOLD ON TO THE WORD! Instead of fixing our eyes on the immensity of our problems and man's limited resources, we need to fix our eyes on God and what He can provide.

The prophecy below is concerning the financial crisis:

"We will experience a worldwide economic upheaval resulting in the collapse of our monetary system. This economic crash will come suddenly, sending shockwaves throughout the world. It will be the opening of the establishment of a new one-world monetary system under a new one-world government.

When this worldwide economic disaster hits, it will be unlike anything we have ever experienced. The world will be thrown into a state of shock. Panic and fear will grip the hearts of the people everywhere. They will be confused, not knowing what to do or where to go.

During this time, the people of God will be clearly distinguished from the world by God's supernatural provision in their lives. It will not be the absence of problems and adversity among God's people that will be a witness to the world, but in the midst of this financial crisis the world will see God's strong arm of provision for His people."

God has given us a powerful key that will enable us to face every financial problem, every circumstance and every crisis that Satan throws at us with a total absence of fear and worry.

Uproot Unforgiveness

Are you quick to forgive someone who has wronged you? Can you move forward without ever revisiting the past? If you can look past another's faults and shortcomings, surely you can do the same for yourself. Often when we have missed the mark, we forget that the same forgiveness we afford others is available to us as well (Ephesians 4:31). God wants to forgive you the same way He would any other person who would earnestly seeks His face. He doesn't want you to condemn yourself and revisit the mistake or sin ever again.

Colossians 3:12-13

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
